Jason A. Young joined PIA in June 2013 as the Controller and in April 2021 assumed the position of CFO and Chief Compliance Officer. He provides overall finance and accounting management and ensures the integrity of asset management with financial systems and processes. Additionally, Jason oversees investor relations, fund operations, investment operations, and asset management functions including investment underwriting, due diligence, transaction structure, asset valuation, performance analysis, developer partner communications, and investor reporting. Prior to joining PIA, Jason held Director of Finance and Controller positions in the health care and property management industries. Since joining PIA, he has overseen the investment of almost $100 million and the fielding of thirteen new funds. Additionally, he has overseen the sale of 35 investment assets and has returned over $315 million to PIA clients from sales and existing operations. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004 where he earned his BS in Accounting and Strayer University in 2010 where he earned his MS in Accounting.
